Sehr wichtig ist es für mich, Quellen zu sichern: also Menschen zu finden, die mir ihre Geschichten erzählen – und denen ich vertrauen kann. Ich verstehe Datenrecherche, kenne mich mit Presserecht und Informationsfreiheitsgesetzen aus, und ich respektiere die Grundsätze des sorgfältigen Journalismus. Ich arbeite sehr gerne auch im Team.

On this page you can have a look at what I focus on. I investigate and then write feature stories or reports. Most important for me is winning sources, people sharing their stories, people I share mutual trust with. I‘m familiar with data driven investigations and I like to use press law. I like teamwork too.

Ich schreibe gern Reportagen und unterstütze Stiftungen bei der Recherche. Ich habe in den vergangenen Jahren mehrere Videos produziert und für Produktionsfirmen gearbeitet.

I’m not only writing feature stories or investigating for foundations. I do also produce Video in teamwork with filmmakers and cutters.

For production company a&o buero I co directed the documentary „The Recycling Myth“ that has been aired worldwide and won several international awards.

For the Youtube formate „Vollbild“ of production company Labo M commissioned by public German TV „SWR“ I produced a video about illegal tyre disposal and trafficking as well as the fight for water supply between households and industry in Germany.

For Docdays Productions  I conduct editorial work and research. For example, I investigated the „loveparade“ court case commissioned by German public TV „ARD“ – a film for which Docdays won the famous Grimme Preis 2021.

For VICE International I fixed international productions in Germany on political topics. I also hosted Videos we published on social media and VICE Germany website. Such as a Clown School in Berlin for people overcoming their personal barriers. Or a Video about Kambo – a trending therapy from South America that reached Germany’s hipster milieu. And with VICE Germany we produced a Video on anti-vegans on a carnivore diet. Yummy.

I started with a video project on Germany’s largest deportation facility. Therefore, I interviewed inmates with camera (by Carl Gierstorfer).
